The Techem Compact heat/cold meter (III, IV, V, Ve, Vc) is a single modular design that includes a mechanical multi-jet water flow meter, an electronic heat meter and 2 Pt 500 resistance thermal converters. One resistance thermal converter is built (at the factory) into the housing of the flow meter part, the other is installed by the user on the second pipeline.

The multi-jet flow meter is designed for both municipal and industrial applications. The coolant flow, after it enters the lower part of the device body, enters the turbine through a series of slit-like holes in the form of symmetrical jets that keep the impeller in full equilibrium. The coolant exits through another series of openings located in the upper part of the switchgear. This contributes to less wear of the impeller and mechanism, increased service life and preservation of metrological characteristics.
