The Voltman turbine meter (Woltman) is used mainly at industrial or large municipal facilities.
The meter is a cast housing with connecting flanges, into which a measuring unit is inserted. The main element of the measuring unit is a turbine with screw blades, the axis of which coincides with the axis of the pipeline.
The turbine is driven by a stream of water. The counting mechanism is placed in a sealed dry anti-condensate capsule. Transmission from the turbine to the counting mechanism is provided by means of a special magnetic coupling.
